Activity : Cryostimulation

Apparatus KRIOSAN 7

Cryostimulation is a curing method in which surface application of low temperatures (below -100°C ) is used to induce and make use of physiological reactions to cold in order to support therapy of diseases and dysfunction of moving organs.

Kriosan 7

Kriosan 7 was constructed for cryostimulation treatment..

It is intended to execute local treatment using vapour of liquid nitrogen of temperature of -165°C.

Therapeutic Effects

  • Raise of pain threshold level
  • Local congestion of cooled area
  • Raise of hormone secretion level
  • Endorphyne secretion
  • Decrease of swellings
  • Lowering of muscle tension
  • Decrease of activity of ignitable processes Indirectly, due to combination with other treatments, rise of movability range of joints and muscle strength.
  • Shortening of convalescence period after contusions
  • Used just after the burn improves skin healing

Applications

  • Rheumatology
  • Orthopedics
  • Neurology
  • Dermatology
  • Sport medicine
